Richard Nelson began his real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company in 1984 as a leasing agent and was ultimately named a partner in the commercial division. During his tenure with Trammell Crow, Richard was a perennial top marketing producer. He handled the negotiation of a 70,000-square-foot build-to-suit laboratory facility with Standard Oil/British Petroleum and received the 1987 national award for closing the largest service center lease in the country. After becoming a partner, he coordinated the marketing and management of a diverse 13 million-square-foot portfolio of commercial properties.

John Duffie joined forces with Richard Nelson in March 2004 to found Nelson Duffie Interests. Through his partnership in NDI, he has been involved with numerous acquisitions over more than 16 years; multiple industrial projects involving repositioning, rehab and disposition; office, neighborhood retail, land and multiple mobile home communities. He has more than 40 years of active involvement in the Houston real estate community.

Andrew Peeples partnered with Richard Nelson and John Duffie to co-found NDP Interests in January 2020. He helps manage all aspects of the investment activities for NDP, including deal sourcing, capital raising and investment management for the company’s various sponsored partnerships. Andrew began his commercial real estate career in 2006 with Nelson Duffie Interests, the predecessor company to NDP Interests. After leaving NDI in 2010, he went on to serve as a Director at Stan Johnson Company and then Senior Vice President at CBRE, focusing on net lease investment sales throughout the country. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Phoenix Construction, a full service commercial real estate construction, investment and development company specializing in industrial, office and retail projects. Throughout his career, Andrew has been directly involved in over $1 billion worth of commercial real estate investment sales, equity placements, leases and developments.
